One week to go

Manic, racing thoughts, grossly unorganized. Sounds like I'm having a mental breakdown doesn't it? Na, I'm struggling to get everything done before I leave for China next Thursday. In one mere week, I will be flying over the ocean, almost to China. Unbelievable. This seemingly unending journey started 6/05, 3.5 year ago and is finally coming to an end, yet just beginning at the same time.

This trip feels much different than the trip to get Emily, who will be six 3/25. This time, if something goes wrong, Emily will be left, and the thought of that is heartbreaking. So I will say no more, just ask for prayers.

Cassidy Lauren-Faith-WenBo was born 6/11 08 in Chenzhou, Hunan China. At four months, she weights twelve pounds, compared to Emily, who at ten months, weighed fifteen. That and the chubby cheeks staring back at me, make me conclude she's a little chunk! And bald as a cue ball! lol Yet I get lost in those beautiful brown eyes.

Returning to diapers and babyfood with Emily so independent is hard to imagine. Friends think I'm nuts. I wouldn't change it for the world. She will complete my family. Forever she will be my youngest daughter and Emily's little sister. Although the wait was unbearable at times, I believe she was the baby meant for our family.
